Hello, and welcome to my world.

I’ve been creating one of a kind, limited production pieces for the past 19 years. After my son was born, I needed a regenerative outlet for my artistic soul. In a small way, creating jewelry rescued me, and the upside was friends and family received beautiful gifts as I benefitted from the fun and relaxation. As the years passed, I explored new mediums and dove deeper into the magic of Silver Metal Clay as a sculptural material.

I graduated Rhode Island School of Design with a double major in Industrial Design and Graphic Design. I’ve always been intrigued by simple forms and geometry married with texture, pattern, and color. Designing unique jewelry with precious and semi-precious gemstones, silver, bronze, copper and glass, I have carefully handcrafted all the pieces you find here in my Rhode Island studio with a view of charming Pawtuxet Cove. I have always been a “maker” and I love, most ardently, creating original wearable, works of art.

My process

In my day to day life as an artist and graphic designer, I enjoy finding, curating, and creating organic and geometric patterns and textures. These combined with luscious, malleable, sterling silver metal clay and traditional metalsmithing techniques create one-of-a-kind wearable art.

Silver metal clay was invented by the Japanese and consists of 3 ingredients: tiny particles of pure silver, water, and an organic binder. When fresh, it is clay-like, and can be textured, rolled, or sculpted. When air dried or leather hard, it can be carved, cut, filed, drilled, and joined to make complex forms. It's fired in a small kiln, the silver particles fuse together, creating a beautifully-detailed object made of sterling silver.
